Celebrating a decade of International Junior Golf competition.
The Scotland Junior Golf Invitational celebrates 10 years with it's 2025 events. Hosted at the home of golf, St Andrews and North Berwick, this annual international competition features top level high school golfers from the United States and top level high school golfers from Scotland. The series includes a Coed Tour and a Men's Tour, each consisting of 6 rounds of play at some of the most historic courses in Scotland.
The tour is a team event, structured and organized as an introduction to a collegiate team golf format. The athletes not only compete as team, but also travel, stay, eat, socialize and practice as a team over the 10 day tour. Many of our chaperones are SJGI alumni that participate are current or former collegiate golfers.

It is not often that you have an opportunity to travel internationally, represent your country in competition, and assimilate into the culture you are visiting. The Scottish Junior Golf Invitational offers a unique experience for our players and participants. Aside from the competition, our teams visit historic sites across Scotland together, immerse with the Scotland team players in social settings, eat new foods and see their culture first hand.
These experiences create lifelong friendships and memories for our alumni, that have carried to college, professional careers and beyond. As an SJGI Team Member, you are not just be a part of this years team, you become a SJGI alum and carry a common bond with those that played before you and those that will participate in the future. This experience continues long after your SJGI trip is over.

Meet Brian & Dana Volmer
ABOUT OUR TEAM
The SJGI was founded by Brian and Dana Volmer. They have been organizing and hosting international golf tours for over 25 years through their company GoGolfTours.com. Their experience extends beyond Scotland to some of the most historic courses in Ireland, Portugal, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Australia, Turkey and the United States.
Brian and Dana had a vision to offer these historic experiences to High School Golfers from the United States by creating an international touring event, where they could showcase their talents against some of the top level High School players from other countries. In August of 2016, the Scotland Junior Golf Invitational hosted its first tour at golf's most historic course, St Andrews. SJGI has since evolved into an annual touring event that provides High School golfers an opportunity to experience international competition, memorable experiences and created lifelong friendships.
All SJGI representatives are professional, well vetted, travel and coaching experts. Our team offers over 30 years of coaching junior athletes combined with 25 years of organizing domestic and international tours. Our expertise provides all of our athletes a well organized, productive and fun tour.

Brian and Dana live in Park City, Utah. They are the founders and tour directors of the Scotland Junior Golf Invitational as well as the owners of GoGolfTours.
Prior to moving here Brian was a tennis professional in St. Louis Missouri for 25+ years, focusing on junior development. He coached both high school and division 3 college teams. He is currently a member at North Berwick, The Glen and Dunbar Golf Clubs in Scotland.
Brian and his wife, Dana, were partners in Golf Holidays Tour Company. They have organized and escorted tours to 5 continents and escort multiple tours annually.
